President Tom has asked me to let you know that a collection
made at Tesco on Saturday for the Haiti Disaster raised £1588.50.
18th January 12 members of the Club erected the Shelterbox tent
among the cars at Furrows and laid out all the other equipment
that is contained in a Shelterbox.

20/21 June we welcomed our Indian friends in advance of conference
Club members, wives and Inner Wheelers and guests returned safely
from an emotional visit to the Normandy beaches.
The last night was celebrated with the Rotary Club of St Lo.

high.
Helping Hand Concert 12th May.
Youth Speaks presentation Evening also 12 May (6.15pm at the
school).
Heart & Stoke Health awareness - over 100 members of the
public 'tested' - 47 with high blood pressure - 16 with high blood
sugar readings.
Charity Film night, nearly 300 attended raising over £3,00.00
on 28th April.
Congratulation to the Thomas Telford School Youth Speaks team
representing the District and Region in winning the National Final
in Chedder on 18 April.
Well done to John Birkett, tutor, and Helen Barnett Tom Coram
and Poppy Bennett.

One new member joined the Club in March, thats five for 2009
The AGM took place on 3rd April.
At the Tree of Light Presentation 12 March £4,477.00
was presented to Telford & Wrekin Home Start.
