ANNUAL RIGHT AROUND THE WREKIN WALK

3rd JULY 2011

Starting from the Old Rife Range (which will be signposted on the day) between 10.00am and noon.

There is plenty of free parking at the start point.

This is a walk which will enable anybody taking part, from young to old, to raise money for their favourite charity in exchange for a small fee to Rotary charities.

Official Sponsorship forms to enable you to collect funds for your favourite charity, club, society, school or local group are available from the Rotary club. Or, if you wish, just turn up on the day at the old Rifle Range and enjoy the sign-posted route right around the Wrekin.

The planned walk through the forest around the foot of our famous hill will go anti clockwise from the firing range and reach its highest point at the Halfway House.

The distance is about 8km.

Young children must be accompanied and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

Sensible shoes are needed and clothing appropriate to the day.

Entrance fees, payable to the Rotary club for its own charities are £4 for an adult and £2 for a young person under 16yrs. There is a family entry fee of £10.

Get your entry and sponsorship forms by emailing Rotarian Don Woolford at ratw11@wellingtonrotary.org.uk
