On Friday 6 February Wellington Rotary is hosting a Magic Night to support the Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal
The event will be held at the Village Hall in High Ercall, six miles north of Wellington. It will start at 7pm and as part of the evening, in addition to the magic, there will be cheese and wine refreshments. The hall has a safety restriction so ticket availability is limited – phone 07956 575410 or email tickets@wellingtonrotary.org.uk to get yours!
The magician will be Jack Dent, an associate of the Inner Magic Circle. Jack is based in Shropshire. His performance will leave the audience thinking “How did he do that”?
The event is being organised by the Rotary Club of Wellington (Shropshire) Benevolent Fund to support the Lingen Davies Sunflower Appeal. This is the charity’s biggest appeal to date, to raise £5million to grow cancer care across its region. The aim is to create, and have running by 2029, a Lingen Davies Chemotherapy Centre in Telford’s Princess Royal Hospital. Together with the existing chemotherapy services in the Royal Shrewsbury Hospital, this development will double capacity across its region. Patients will be able to access the treatment they need, where they need, much quicker!
We look forward to welcoming you to our Magic Night, an evening of entertainment and fellowship contributing to the development of the Chemotherapy Centre.
