We played Stafford Castle on 3rd February at the Park Hotel in Wellington. The team was Jim McGinn, Keith Mainwaring, Graeme Keay, Venn Davies, Norman Quin and Mike Dorricott.
We started well by Jim winning the 1st game. Keith was up next but he was suffering from jet lag and thought the board was upside down (having just returned from Australia) and lost. The team then went on an unbeatable run and won the remaining 4 games.
There then followed a light meal consisting of chips, sausage and sandwiches. We also played some dominoes and that should be considered for the next years indoor sports. Norman and John Davies excelling!!
