On Saturday 9th November the scouts of 1st Wellington, 1st Wrekin (Hadley) and 1st Prees entertained a party from Telford & Wrekin Young Carers Service to a survival training fun day at the Wrekin Campsite. Rotary provided the BBQ sponsored by Morgan’s Country Butchers & Smokery and a tasting selection of Caribbean food.

Andrew Ramsay and Geoff Foukes were the BBQ cooks with Gill Williams and Margaret Seaward as servers. Also in attendance were President Tom Taylor, Peter Williams, Peter Seaward and John Wardle. The Caribbean food selection was supplied by Lavern Mthethwa, Sol’s good lady – so good that a carry out service was provided!
