Traditionally, the first Sunday in October is Harvest Festival at St Peter’s Church, Wrockwardine. This year Wellington Rotary club and Wellington Inner Wheel joined with their congregation at Morning Service to sing “We plough the fields and scatter” and “All things bright and beautiful”. Rtn John Wardle designed a super service with lessons read by Inner Wheel member Margaret Williams and Rotary President Peter Williams. After tea, coffee and cake in the Cludde chapel 51 people, including Rev Andy Ackroyd, drove up to Wrekin Golf club for a wonderful 3 course Sunday lunch with fellowship. Produce donated by members was taken to the Telford Crisis Support food bank in Sutton Hill where it was gratefully received.
