President Brian’s end of year BBQ took place, this year at Fordhall Organic Farm near Market Drayton on Wednesday 27th June. With just a few days of his Presidential Year to go Brian enjoyed a glass of Shropshire Lad while enjoying the excellent burgers and sausages produced from Fordhall’s organic herds. Everyone was looked after very well by the Fordhall staff and Charlotte reported ‘It was a real pleasure to host you all last night. The staff really enjoyed it too. They said what a lovely bunch you all were.’
The BBQ was followed by either Eton Mess or Strawberries which proved most enjoyable. There were still surprises in store for everyone.
Pat Richards was presented with flowers to thank her for the support she had given to Brian throughout the year, Dan Scollard-Kerr revived the 50s and 60s with his music & President Elect Peter announced the biggest suprise – for President Brian – of the night.
