Thursday, 8th September saw the second game of crown green bowls against The Probus Club of Wellington, this time at the former Sugarbeet Factory at Allscott. Thank you Rotarian Chris Yates for your assistance with the arrangements. An enjoyable game played in a friendly spirit. Probus members took their ‘defeat’ on the chin with a smile. Tea and sandwiches followed with the highlight being the wonderful cakes, courtesy of Mrs Val Scollard-Kerr. Scrumptious!
Hopefully these games will be an annual event.
