THANKS FROM TELFORD GATEWAY CLUB
Just to let you know that we delivered Christmas presents to all our members last Saturday. With Santa, we visited each one in turn, adhering to social distancing rules of course. We recorded a short film at a couple of houses and sent it to the BBC and it was shown on Saturday night on Midlands Today. We also organised a meet up with the Shropshire Star, and they sent a photographer who took lots of Photos. In the interview we told the reporter that it was thanks to the generosity donation from Wellington Rotary that helped us to buy the presents, and that he should mention it in the item. Don’t know when it will appear. Hope they use it. Just to let you know how happy it made our members and how it cheered them. I’m sure it has improved their morale and wellbeing. Please pass our grateful thanks to all your members and wish them all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
