We had a really good collection on Friday 7 February, our second of 2020. Food and toiletries weighed in at 198 kilos and members donated a further £60 cash.
Furthermore, Ollie, the Foodbank manager acknowledged an error in January’s figure; it too was in the region of 190- 200 kilos in addition to the £70 cash.
This means that since we started our monthly collections in September 2018 our members have donated nearly 2500 kgs of food and toiletries ( that’s more or less two and a half tons) and just short of £750 in cash.
That’s a brilliant effort so well done to all our Foodbankers.
