On Friday 24th November In the presence of District 1210 Governor Carol Reilly and AG Margaret Clewly, Rotary Club of Wellington President Brian Richards welcomed two news members into the Club. Maureen Ward and Sophie Yates were introduced to the Club by their proposers and then inducted into membership of Rotary International.
President Brian said, “The ideal of Rotary is service, our principal motto is “Service Above Self”. The object of this club and of all Rotary clubs is to encourage and foster this ideal. As well as service, friendship is also very important, and we hope and trust that you will gain many friends here, and be a friend to many.”
