A successful Club Quiz Night took place at the Duck at Allscott on Thursday 22nd February. Quizmaster Paul Rhodes put 100 questions to teams of 2 in five general knowledge sections. Questions ranged from giving the name of TinTin’s dog [Snowy] to naming the shortest book in the Old Testament [Obadiah]. Following a break after round three to enjoy a hearty meal the quiz concluded with victory for the team of John Bradley and Ian Drummond with 71 marks closely followed by second place team of Elaine and Peter Wiles.
