Wellington’s A team travelled to Wolverhampton on the evening of 19 May to take part in the final of the District 1210 Club Quiz competition.
At the end of the final round team members David Lovatt, John Bradley, Richard Studd and Peter Williams were in joint third place having the same number of points as the team from Shrewsbury club. The tie breaker question on the number of words in the complete works of Shakespeare decided the third place position with Wellington giving the number nearer to the correct answer.
Congratulations to the team from Walsall who won the competition with the team from Leek coming second
