The Rotary Club of Wellington Charity Film Night was a great success and raised over £2500 for Charity. The proceeds from the evening will benefit local and national charities nominated by both the Rotary Club of Wellington and the Odeon Cinema. The Odeon Cinema’s nominated charities were the NSPCC and the Variety Club. The Rotary Club of Wellington nominated the Midlands Air Ambulance together with Rotary charities. Organiser of the event, Rotarian Chris Yates, said, ‘This year’s Charity Film Night was a great success and I would like to thank all those who supported the event. An evening enjoying a good film has enabled us to help those who are less fortunate than ourselves.’
