The Shropshire Football Association Tom Farmer Shropshire Women’s Cup Final took place at the New Meadow on Thursday 5th May. Maureen Farmer accompanied by President Peter Seaward was introduced to the teams, Shrewsbury Town Ladies and TNS Ladies, before kick off. The exciting match that followed was won by TNS by two goals to one.
The match inaugurated the award of the Shropshire Football Association Tom Farmer Shropshire Women’s Cup which was presented to the winning team by Maureen Farmer.
