The 1st April was a serious very day for 30 members and friends as we were treated to a tour of the wonderful treasures of Elizabeth’s House at Weston Park. Our guides Val and Pat took us back in time with views of paintins by Stubbs, Constable and others and spoke of the dubious political dealings involving the Great Seal of James 11. The afternoon concluded with afternoon tea, one table of seven managed 5 different teas between them. Even Sherwood was treated to silver sevice!!
