The Rotary Club of Wellington’s first 10 Pin Bowling game of the season was played at Telford on Tuesday 25th November. The opponents were the Rotary Club of Ironbridge under the captaincy of Tony Roden.
In the first few games there was little between the two clubs but as the match progressed Wellington started to pull away. The final result was Wellington 642, Ironbridge 551.
The Wellington Team were consistent throughout with John Banks being top scorer with 155 followed by Graham Keay, 116, Keith Mainwaring, 115, Daniel Scollard-Kerr, 107, Vic Young, 79, and Rob Evans 70. A very pleasing win for our first game.
