Louise Haston gave a presentation to a club meeting and showed members what can be put into shoe boxes for distribution to the less fortunate of Eastern Europe. There is no need to buy a pair of shoes to get a shoe box as the Rotary Shoebox Scheme provide the boxes for a small fee. Louise has been involved in various shoebox appeals for seven years and feels that the Rotary Scheme is more flexible and provides a greater opportunity to provide for the whole family.
